Les Chaussettes Jacquemus
Jacquemus
Jacquemus is a French fashion brand founded in 2009 by designer Simon Porte Jacquemus. Known for its fresh, minimalist aesthetic and playful approach to design, the brand quickly gained recognition for redefining modern French fashion. Inspired by Simon’s upbringing in the South of France, Jacquemus collections often evoke a sense of Mediterranean warmth, simplicity, and joie de vivre, blending effortless elegance with a contemporary twist.
The brand’s signature style is characterized by clean lines, asymmetrical cuts, and bold proportions, often paired with vibrant colors and natural fabrics. Jacquemus is celebrated for its iconic accessories, such as the Le Chiquito mini bag, which became a global phenomenon, as well as its sculptural footwear and statement hats. Its ready-to-wear collections for men and women embrace a balance of sensuality and minimalism, creating pieces that feel both artistic and wearable.
Today, Jacquemus continues to captivate the fashion world with innovative presentations and a strong digital presence. The brand’s runway shows, often staged in breathtaking outdoor settings like lavender fields or wheat fields, have become cultural moments that reflect its unique storytelling approach. With a growing international presence and a loyal following, Jacquemus stands as a symbol of modern French chic, combining creativity, authenticity, and a sense of fun in every collection.
